Everyone’s been asking me about my skincare routine!!
… jk, literally not one single person has asked me about this. However, after years and years of searching for the perfect daily skin cocktail, I’ve finally found it, and thought it would be a nice thing to share (in case you’re looking for some amazing products)!
My skin is generally combination dry/oily, and very acne prone. Even though I’m almost 30, I still break out like a teenager (although the use of acutane when I was 23 helped a bit!). These products help me so much and my breakouts are much more under control than they ever have been!

These 8 products are my holy grails. All but one are completely clean and free from chemicals, and that’s the Olay retinol eye cream (I’ll get to that later).
Step One: Cleanse and Tone
I’ve heard a lot of buzz about Caudalie the last few years, and finally decided to give it a try. I first cleanse with their Vinopure Clarifying Cleanser, then tone with their Vinopure Purifying Toner. If you look closely in the photo, you can see that the toner is almost completely out! And the cleanser is a totally new bottle (I’ve gone through about 1 per month for the past few months).
Step 2: Moisturize
I used to be terrified of moisturizer. When I was an acne-ridden teenager, I use to use the Proactiv toner and not even moisturize after because I though moisture = acne. I wish I could go back and shake that teenage girl, because now I know that when my skin is dry is when I break out the MOST! So now I am obsessed with keeping my skin hydrated at all times.
For mornings, I absolutely adore Beautycounter’s Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion. I thought the “adaptive” part was pure BS, until I tried it. It really does adapt to your skin throughout the day, keeping it hydrated and soft.
During the day, I also put SPF on top of this–this one is my favorite.
In the evenings, I slather Weleda Skin Food Ultra-Rich Cream all over my face and neck. It feels so incredibly soft and moisturizing, and my face feels like baby’s skin in the morning. Like I said, my teenage self would be horrified to see my adult self doing this! But it works! I should also mention that I put Weleda Skin Food on my hands as well.
Step 3: Eye Cream
During the day, I use Beautycounter’s Rejuvenating Eye Cream to brighten and de-puff. I also use an ice roller when I’m feeling fancy!
At night, I use the Olay Retinol night eye cream. This is the only skincare product I use that isn’t clean; like I mentioned before, retinol in and of itself is not a clean ingredient, but I figured that I want to stay looking young and one product with chemicals won’t kill me.
I also like to use Beautycounter’s Overnight Resurfacing Peel every few nights. I put this on after toner and before my night cream, right before bed. It helps even out my skin tone!
In addition to Weleda Skin Food, I also slather my lips in Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. A little goes a long way and I’ve had this container for over 6 months now… this is with my husband stealing it every night too. :)
Lastly, I am very obsessed with all of Supergoop’s products, but these are my absolute favorite (clean!) sunscreens:
I’ve been using their Unseen Sunscreen for years as a primer under my makeup, but their most recent Glow Screen is even better. It gives me a nice little healthy glow and honestly, I might not wear face makeup in the future because of it. It’s that good! Both of these face sunscreens are the best of the best, and a little goes a long way so bottles last a while!
