If you haven’t noticed on Instagram, I take a lot of pictures of houses. I’m practically obsessed with them, and my friends are accustomed to my outbursts (“stop the car! I have to take a picture of that house!”).
Instagram is basically a window into my soul and, with that, unhealthy obsession. Have you noticed that I frequently (like, really frequently) photograph houses? My friends have become accustomed to my sudden outbursts: “Stop the car! I HAVE to take a picture of that house!”
We all daydream to escape adulting. But lately, I’ve caught myself fantasizing about the most grownup thing ever: my future abode. I think this stems from the fact that a few of my friends are buying houses (umm what? We’re old enough to do that now?).
When I draw up casa de Audrey in my mind, I’ll admit that my desires go beyond in-unit laundry and a working a/c unit. I remind myself that I may not get everyyyything I want in Audrey dreamhouse, but I let my mind wander since I believe it’s creatively fueling and fulfilling to explore your style and identify what design elements matter most to you.
