The 5 Best Soundtracks of All Time (So Far)

Soundtracks
There have been some GREAT movie soundtracks in the past few years, and I decided to put together a list of my favs for you. You can listen to these and a few others on my “Best Soundtracks” playlist on Spotify!

1. Garden State
This soundtrack was when I was first introduced to my favorite band of all time, The Shins. And for that, I am forever grateful. Add in a little Simon & Garfunkel and Iron & Wine, and you’ve got yourself a hit soundtrack that’s awesome to listen to at work or on a rainy day.

Best Track: Caring is Creepy – The Shins

2. [500] Days of Summer
I saw this movie the first day it came out, and bought the soundtrack the very next morning. There’s so much to love about this compilation, especially Regina Spektor and The Smiths. We also can’t forget the iconic “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates!

Best Track: There is a Light That Never Goes Out – The Smiths

3. The Fault in Our Stars
This soundtrack gives me all the feels.

Best Track: Tee Shirt – Birdy

4. Wish I Was Here
I can’t even describe how much I loved this movie, and the soundtrack that accompanied it. Thank you Zach Braff for creating yet another amazing film with an incredible soundtrack.

Best Track: Mexico – Jump Little Children

5. 50 Shades of Grey
I hated this movie. There, I said it. But the soundtrack? I am obsessed. They combined old and new music for the perfect playlist. Frank Sinatra AND Ellie Goulding AND Annie Lennox? Sold.

Best Track: Love Me Like You Do – Ellie Goulding
